Analysis Report for Q235A/1045/65Mn/Cr12/DC53/ Cr12MoV /D2/SKD11/SKH9/ ASP-23 Steel
l Q235A (known as A3 steel ) belongs to carbon structural steel.
Its material properties with good plasticity, nice wear resistance and weld ability performance .
Scope of application : It has been widely used in rough parts and welding parts.
Just like: tie rod, connecting rod, pin, shaft, screw, nut, ring, bracket, machine base, building structure, bridge can see its figure.
l 1045/CK45 belongs to the high end carbon instruction steel in steel marketing.
l Material properties: it was the steel with the most widely used medium carbon steel with quenching and tempering .And has good mechanical properties and low harden ability performance .
l Scope of use: usually used to make high strength moving parts, such as impeller, piston, shaft, gear, rack, worm, etc in automation equipment in industry .
l 65Mn is belongs to spring steel.
l Scope of use: small spring, clock spring and other spring products.
lCr12 is belongs to cold drawing die steel (USA material No. D3, Japan material No. SKD1)
Material characteristics: it is a steel widely used in cold stamping die because it is a high carbon, high chromium type leistenite steel.
It has good harden ability performance and wear resistance but there have a weakness that its toughness is very poor and easy to be fragile in end of production .
Scope of use: commonly used as punch, knife edge, strong template material.
lCr12 -- Cold drawing die steel (USA material No. D3, Japan material No. SKD1)
Material characteristics: it is a steel widely used in cold stamping die because it is a high carbon, high chromium type leistenite steel.
It has good harden ability performance and wear resistance but there have a weakness that its toughness is very poor and easy to be fragile in end of production .
Scope of use: commonly used to punch, knife edge, strong template material.
lDC53 -- Imported die steel
Material properties: high strength cold work die steel, Japan Datong steel.
After heat treatment, it has excellent physical properties such as high hardness and wear resistance.
Scope of use: This material is generally used for punching, cutting edge or drawing, forming die, etc.
Scope of use: commonly used as punch, knife edge, strong template material.
Cr12MoV -- Abrasion resistance chrome steel in domestic marketing
Material characteristics: adding the trace elements Mo and V on the basis of Cr12, which has better hardenability, hardness and wear resistance.
Scope of use: widely used in stretching, punching, knife edge, punch, work template, circular saw, measuring tools, etc.
D2 -- High carbon, high chromium cold work steel
Material properties: D2 grade with good harden ability performance, wear resistance, good high temperature oxidation resistance, excellent corrosion resistance after quenching and polishing, and small deformation after heat treatment.
Scope of use: the general use of high precision, long service life of the stamping die structure, or some tools, measuring instruments, etc.
SKD11(SLD) -- High chromium steel with wear resistance
Material characteristics: SKD11 grade belongs to Japan , its comprehensive performance is better than Cr12MoV, D2 while it using in making the mold item lines .
Scope of use: generally used for better mold structure products .
DC53 -- High endurance and high chromium steel
Material properties: Its hardness is higher than SKD11, up to 62-63HRC after heat treatment. Its comprehensive physical properties, such as strength and wear resistance, are much better than SKD11, and its wear resistance is twice as good as SKD11.
Scope of use: precision stamping die, cold forging die, deep drawing die, etc
SKH - 9 - high speed steel
Scope of use: generally used in forging, cutting tools such as drill, reamer, etc.
ASP-23 -- Powder Metallurgy High Speed Steel
Material characteristics: it has excellent wear resistance, and it is easy to work.
The specification of material will be stable after making the heat treatment .
Scope of use: widely used in mold, cutting tool with long service life, etc.
