AISI1018 steel is a low carbon permeable steel widely used in pistons, screws, drive shafts, machine tools, springs, etc.
AISI1018 is an American material with high manganese content, similar to 16Mn or 15Mn and 20Mn in chemical composition, similar to the carbon content of 20 steel and Q235, but much less manganese content.10 represents carbon manganese steel and 18 represents carbon content.
