1.2605 is a universal hot cooking pot with 4.75-5.5% inscription. 1.2605 tool copper content (0.2-0.5%) is less than the widely used H13 hot work tool steel (0.8-1.2%).
1.2605 steel is a kind of deep tasseled, air sintered copper, with minimal dimensional change during heat treatment.
The 1.2605 tool steel material has good resistance to thermal fatigue cracking (hot cracking) and excellent resistance to coarse cracking and heat resistance during use.
Therefore, it can be said that the 1.2605 tool has the following characteristics:Excellent wear resistance, high temperature strength. Good homogeneity and toughness.
Ultra-fine structure of unbounded carbide. Control the shape of the clutter with the cleanliness.

1.2605 flat bar : thickness 1 6-SOOmm x width 200-800mm
1.2605plate : thickness 1 6-SOOmm x width 200-810mm

3. Forging of 1.2605 tool steel
Thermoforming temperature: 11 0 0-8500
4.Heat treatment of1.2605 mould steel
l Annealing:
Heat the 1.2605 copper hammer slowly and uniformly to 84S-9oo·c, and cool to s 4o·c at a rate of 10-20°C/hr. Lido HB 229
l Pressure hammer:
The 1.2605 steel should be heated to about 6so·c, heat preservation for 1-2 hours, and then air-cooled to eliminate stress to eliminate processing stress. Perform this rubbing to reduce deformation during heat treatment.
l Temper:
Tempering temperature: 5 20-7000 ( keep the temperature at least 2 hours, air cooling double tempering)
5.Hardening Issue :
l Preheating (1): Heat the 1.2 605 pot to about S40~6 s o·c, write 25mm and keep it warm for 30 minutes.
l Preheating (2): Heat the 1.2605 tool steel to about 84S- 87o·c, write 25mm and keep it warm for 30 minutes.
6.Application :
1.2605 Thermal Work Tool Copper is generally used for thermal tool applications that require the greatest crack resistance.
Typical applications of this type include: Extrusion industry: Extrusion molds and linings, extrusion tools.
Suitable forging industry: forming molds, stamping molds, die-casting industry: quality alloy molds
Tool industry: hot punching, hot shearing blades, cold-rolling splicing rods
