Description of 1.3202 steel :
1.3202 also known as wind steel or front steel, means it can harden even when cooled in the air and is very sharp.
It is an alloy steel with complex composition, including tungsten, molybdenum, chromium, vanadium, cobalt and other carbide-forming elements.
The total alloying element is about 10 ~ 25%. It can remain high in the case of high heat generated by high speed cutting (about 500℃)
Hardness, HRC can be above 60 this is the main characteristics of high-speed steel - red hard
Although carbon tool steel has hardness at room temperature after quenching and low temperature tempering, but when the temperature is higher than 200℃,
At 500℃, the hardness has been reduced to similar to the annealing state, and the ability to cut metal is completely lost.
This is carbon tool steel for cutting tools.
And high speed steel, because of its good red hardness, makes up for the fatal shortcoming of carbon tool steel, can be used to manufacture cutting tools

1.3202 Alloy material chemical composition:

Chromium is also one of the main components, which can harden-ability and wear resistance of steel, corrosion resistance and chemical effect of steel.
As one of the auxiliary alloys, copper has the anti-corrosion properties of ordinary low-alloy steels, especially when used with phosphorus.Monel is essentially a nickel-copper alloy.
Molybdenum as one of the auxiliary alloys can obviously steel harden-ability and thermal strength, to prevent temper brittleness, remanence and coercivity. Hastelloy is nickel-molybdenum alloy in essence.
Application Examples:
