1.2083 Description :

1.2083 mold steel is a plastic mold steel with a chromium content of up to 13%. 1.2083 mold steel has good polish-ability and excellent wear resistance, and is often used in acid-proof plastic molds.

1.2083 die steel is the German DIN standard grade 1.2083, the American AISI standard grade 420, the Japanese JIS standard grade SUS420J2, and the Swedish ASSAB standard grade is STAVAX.

1.2083 Characteristic:

1. Good corrosion resistance, wear resistance and machine-ability;

2. Good harden-ability;

3.  Low deformation rate;

4. Excellent polish-ability in the hardened state;

1.2083 Performance:

The 1.2083 die steel is softened and annealed when it leaves the factory, with a hardness of 215~240HBW. Possess good corrosion resistance, wear resistance, hardenability and machinability. Its impurity content is low, due to its good corrosion resistance, the maintenance cost is relatively low, and the surface precision is high. The long-term production can still maintain the original high precision.

1.2083 Application :

1.2083 mold steel is suitable for electro-erosion operations, acidic plastics and molds that require good polishing. Mainly used in the production of PVC molds, wear resistance and filling molds, including thermosetting plastic molds, long-life molds, such as: disposable tableware molds, optical product parts production, such as cameras, sunglasses lenses, medical containers, etc. .
