4140 steel is a kind of alloy structural steel with high strength, hardenability, good toughness and small deformation during quenching.

● Features and scope of application:
High strength, hardenability, good toughness, small deformation during quenching, high creep strength and durable strength at high temperature.It is used to manufacture forgings requiring higher strength and larger quenching and tempering section than 35CrMo steel, such as big gear for locomotive traction, supercharger drive gear, rear axle, connecting rod and spring clamp with great load, and can also be used for drilling pipe joints and fishing tools in deep oil Wells below 2000m.

● Delivery state: to heat treatment (normalizing, annealing or high temperature tempering) or no heat treatment state delivery.
