SKD11 Steel and Cr12MoV Steel are very different, strictly speaking, not the same grade of die steel.

         The die life of SKD11 Steel is at least twice that of Cr12MoV Steel .The die life of SKD11 Steel is at least twice that of Cr12MoV Steel .In terms of alloying content, the alloying content of Cr12MoV Steel is slightly lower than that of SKD11 Steel .The Mo wear-resistant alloy content of SKD11 Steel and Cr12MoV Steel  is different.

       1.The difference of heat treatment deformation between SKD11 Steel and Cr12MoV Steel .The heat treatment deformation of SKD11 Steel  is less than that of Cr12MoV Steel .This is because SKD11's quenchable alloy Ni content is higher than Cr12MoV Steel , so SKD11 Steel is better than Cr12MoV Steel in harden-ability, that is, SKD11 Steel 's heat treatment deformation is smaller.

       2.SKD11 Steel and Cr12MoV Steel  line cutting processing linear difference.SKD11 Steel wire cutting machined-ability is superior to Cr12MoV Steel ;

      3. SKD11Steeland Cr12MoV Steel mechanical performance difference.SKD11Steel has better drilling and tapping smoothness than Cr12MoV Steel .

     In view of the current boss Chen is manually stamping, the speed is not fast, want to change Cr12MoV Steel into SKD11 die steel, improve the life of the die.
