Description:
Cold work tool steel with good toughness and wear resistance.
Applications :
Cold forming tool rolls, shear knives, spindles forming dies.
Physical properties (average values) at ambient temperature Modulus of elasticity [103 x N/mm2 ]: 210 Density [g/cm3 ]: 7.72 Soft Annealing Heat to 650-740o C, cool slowly.
Hardening Harden from a temperature of 830-870o C followed by air quenching.
Tempering Tempering temperature: Please ask. Forging Hot forming temperature: 1050-850o C.
